Walking routes

From a flat shore path you can start on foot to the roof of Northern Ireland. The walks we know well, graded honestly, with a feel for distance, effort and where to park.

Walking routes

The Mournes reward all kinds of walkers. These are the routes we point guests to most often, from a shore walk that starts at the gate to a full day on the high tops.

Mountain weather changes fast; check the forecast, carry layers and let someone know your plans. Grades here are a guide for the demonstration site, not a substitute for a proper map and a bit of local advice.
